The possibility of such happening depends. Taking into account the Drake Equation, such is a possibility. But without emperical evidence most people will not believe. Although many interesting theories abound such as those from Zecharia Sitchin are quite stimulating to consider.

You might think of it like this: Imagine a newly discovered island in the pacific inhabited by a primative tribe of people who's technology has not progressed beyond stone tools, bows and arrows etc. A helocopter carrying some scientists flys to the island, lands, some scientists get out and start gathering data about the plant and animal life on the island, but do not detect or come in contact with the primative tribe. They leave after a few hours and fly back to the mainland. Some of the inhabitants of the island heard a weird sound when the chopper was flying in - something they never heard before and start to talk about what it meant. Now apply this analogy to the earth (it is the newly discovered land) and the scientists are visitors from another Star system in the galaxy. They could have come and gone without coming in contact with any humans, yet their presence was detected by some people, but they didn't know what it was. Is this possible? Of course. Is there any hard evidence that this is what in fact happened? No. Its just a possibility.

Whoever said that the pyramids at Giza were a "pile of rocks" is gravely mistaken. The structures' edges point toward the true poles (as opposed to magnetic poles). Their position in relative to the celestial heavens implicate advanced knowledge of the movements of celestial bodies. These are just some of the more outstanding features of the mega strucutures. Modern engineers, even if they tried, would be unable to accurately replicate the Pyramids of Giza
-that is factoring in the precise angles, measurements, and relations regrading the poles.

Those ideas are nonsense. No way people could have built the pyramids with the technology available thousands of years ago, so of course the only logical explanation is aliens! Give me a break! And alien abduction stories are nothing more than modern ghost stories.

According to me I think Aliens might have existed in the past. But there is no trace of them now.If they do existed then they would have conquered our Earth long back. There is no trace of them on other planets because there is no planet which can support life well. However reasearchs are going on till today to find a solution to this great unsolved mystery. If Aliens existed on other planets it would take take thousands of years for them to visit our planets. So there is no exact answer to this question .It is a debatable one for all.

No .. they would have left behind a cigarette lighter or something. The pyramids are not great technology - just piles of rocks. If the Egyptians had iPods or cell phones, then I might be a believer.

It is virtually impossible that an alien ever did or ever will visit earth.
But there are probably millions of them out there who speculate about it just like you did!

I doubt it. It would be expensive, time consuming, and dangerous for aliens to come here. It would be nearly impossible to find us anyway, and there are probably other planets closer to their home planet to search, ones more suitable to life than Earth.
