should India have the same status as English speaking country as the US, the UK, Australia etc?

No,even though a lot of Indians do speak good English.

Absolutely--i mean i m indian and i no for a fact that even the poorest section of our society-the fisherfolks,the hawkers,the garbage collectors and pretty much every one speak pretty gud english,and i think we should be on par with america.britain,australia and hong kong.
