Well thanks Sandy. You've just ruined their holiday in East Anglia

My mate Bert in East Anglia is a 25 stone builder and part time bouncer, he painted his house pink. I showed him your question and he thinks that YOU have issues with your own sexuality.

Well if a man (I'm assuming now because you said choirmaster) paints his house pink there's a distinct possibility he might be gay. There's certainly nothing wrong with being gay but with all the weirdos out there you can see why some parents might be concerned. To be honest though, the fact he's being so open about it by painting his house pink means there's probably nothing to worry about - sounds like he's out and proud rather than living in secret preying on young boys.

Nothing strange about pink houses. Haven't any of you been to East Anglia? You'll see hundreds of houses/cottages etc painted in various shades of pink. In days gone by, the deeper the shade of pink, the richer you were, as you could afford to put more oxblood in the paint.

A pink house?

Unfortunately pink is associated with being gay and the fact that the choirmaster is single (and probably a guy) doesn't help.

The controversy regarding pedophile priests still in people's minds may have been a factor in your cousin's decision.

Too right... no parent should send their kids to a choir, it should be classed as child abuse to even entertain the idea...

I saw a fat man on my bus wearing glasses. Do you think he's a paedophile?? Ooops... silly question.

I'd have thought it was obligatory, like buggering the choirboys and having stupid hair.
