Yeah as long as you had a stamp & of course the address of the person you are sending the letter to. (I hope u didn't forget that too!) You write your own address in order for the recipient to aswer to u back & if there's a delivery failure the post office will be able that way to send the letter back to u.

In all honesty it totally depends on where you live. I live in Northern California and NO they will not send it along without a return address. I have no idea if this is even legal but they do it here. I believe they are starting to "not send" mail not properly addressed (to and from address) in many other cities as well. So if I were you I'd call your PostMaster General and ask them.
Of course if you just do not want the receiver to know who sent it, make up a address i.e. 1234 Santa Claus Lane, North Pole

Yes. Why wouldn't it be?
Your home address is only put on the back so, in the event of a non-delivery (RTS, AKK etc.) the mailmen won't have to open the letter to find out who sent it.

Yep, as long as you have the stamp and the address it's going to, it will be sent. The only reason it's good to put your return address is if you think it might be returned.
