I love spandex and wish my wife would wear them with me i never force this on her but i would be putty in herr hands if she wore nylon spandex around me.

Women have a different metabolism as well as a different definition for sex appeal. Let me translate:
Your wife gives you a full Eskimo outfit complete with hood. She says that she loves the feel of fur, but you live in Florida (or Central America) and it's summer. So, you put it on and are sweating like a pig while she runs her hands over the fur. She is putty in your hands. How would that grab ya?
Men are SO visual and so stimulation oriented that they fail to understand women's needs being extremely different. To women, everything is merely clothing UNTIL someone gives them verbal stimulation by telling them how great they look. When their self-esteem is stroked via compliments and positive feedback, they just glow.
Nearly all the clothing and underwear that women use, with the exception of sweat pants and sweat shirts, is not all that comfortable. Great looking high heels that pinch the toes, underwear that squeezes and supports producing sweat, nylons that twist and pinch. Using the restroom is a major deal for them.
Here's what your wife would say:

- want to see it on a female form? get a clothing store dummy

Yah, that's hot. But not everyone gets it. Spandex or nylon spandex means absolutely nothing to some gals. Don't know why but that just the truth.
I love it though. Very sexy!

Because spandex will show every square inch of a woman's body. Women are already self conscious of any flaws. Spandex will show everything. Instead, buy her a lacy baby doll at Victoria's Secret. Women like to feel beautiful.

Tell her that it turns you on kinda like lingerie and ask her if she would be willing to just wear it around the house every once in a while. I don't thin spandex is appropriate for anywhere but the gym or the house though.

Try sitting down and talking to her about it. It may be a simple issue of comfort for her. Maybe the two of you could reach an agreement for special occasions.

honestly being a chick and all... they aren't as comfortable as they may appear....and personally i don't feel comforable in them, they dont make me think sexy when i think about spandex
