If it is serious, get to the OB.
There are a handful of prescriptions out there that are reported safe for pregnant women, if it were me I would toke just a little of the mj in the morning. It will help with the nausea and make the day seem brighter.
It may seem strange and no obgyn would tell you, but happen to know without any question that it is how they help their own wives.
Best of luck.

I learned from my mom to keep crackers next to my bed on the night stand and to eat a few before I got up in the morning. After eating them lay there for a while before getting up, this will help settle your stomach before standing up.

My mother said that with one of her pregnancy she had a terrible time with vomiting, so she would keep the crackers next to her bed and eat a few . She went on to say that some times just the thought of getting up and her stomach would be getting upset.

If this doesn't help I think you should consult with your doctor and see what if any thing else there is you can do.

Remember too that each pregnancy that you have will be different, so that if you get pregnant again in the future you may not get sick at all. I was very blessed and really only became sick once where I did vomit. I used the crackers and it did help me a lot

I hope you start to feel better soon, good luck to you and your family and your new baby too Your beautiful baby will make all of this worth going through. God Bless you and your new baby!

Talk to your doctor. If you can't keep anything down, you run the risk of getting dehydrated and harming you and your baby. Perhaps your doctor can prescribe something to help.

I've lemon and peppermint can both ease nausea. You can buy a wristband meant for motion sickness that some women say helps the pregnancy nausea. There's also a company that makes suckers called Preggo Pops designed to lessen the problem.

I went through this until I was 13 wks. I know, its just awful. At 6 wks I ended up taking myself to the ER because of throwing up for 24 hrs. They gave me Reglin and IV fluids and a prescription for Reglin. I contacted my doctor and told him I want to continue taking this as it really really helped me. Didn't make it go away entirely but took a major edge off of it. I still had to lay down periodically throughout the day. Also, I got off my vitamins for about 3-4 wks and just took the Folic Acid. The vitamins played a big part in my nausea. Don't worry about what your eating or keeping up with good pregnancy diet. Until your feeling better - eat what you can stomach. For me it was fruit. Stay away from strong acidy juice. Apple is best. Ginger tea helps. Peppermint tea helped but I hate peppermint tea. I know when I was going through this reading that it would end by 16 wks... well that just felt like an eternity to me. My "all day sickness" was so bad I ended up quitting work. I'm older this pregnancy too and just couldn't be miserable all day at work, not to mention the long commute I had made it worse. Laying down helped big time. I had a miscarriage last year and didn't want to be under stress again to cause another one - so I opted to stay home. Here we are at 34 wks and waiting for the big day. Be strong and keep in mind all this yucky sick feeling is temporary.

There is a med they use for cancer patients called zofran. It is kind of pricey if you don't have insurance. But it the only thing that really works. It cost us 25.00 a day.
