If I understand correctly, you're asking such a question to find a personal answer/interpretation on which you will take a decision.

Chances are, there are right and wrong answers, some will come to your favor, and others will not. And because there are many unique personal variables relative to you, the answer will always be inaccurate.

So why take a decision that is probably based on a personal bias or uncertainty of interpretation?

Just do your job and be good :)

Only YOU know how your dream Felt!! But I would guess something is running you down or you need to clean out your home or your life situation. A cockroach stands for neglect and uncleanliness to me, but That's To ME and YOU had the dream Don't let anyone tell you they positively KNOW what your dream means. If the shoe fits, find another one just like it! Pay attention to how it made you feel. Good Luck.

depends what this cockroach represented in your dream; was it something to fear, be revolted by, or other?

what ever it represented, then there is something in your life at the moment that you feel this way about.
