Thank you for a Star question... it is very close to my heart!!

I always try to remind myself how small and minuscule I am in the context of this vast and varied universe.... this is an extremely sobering thought which gives considerable relief from getting worked up on any problems or failures... when the mind is calm, it also works better to address the issue on hand with a forward looking approach. I am actually finding this as an effective formula for a happy state of mind.

I feel that my personal issues are both totally insignificant and significant. For my own quest to improve myself, every thought and action is important and as the is an interaction among actions such has some significance. In another manner my personal issues are less than trivial in the larger scope of things. One can easily be consumed with the distractions of false personal separation.

Definitely. When a situation begs emotional and mental attention, I think, "Will this make any difference 100 years from now?" "Does it impact any future event?" Most often the problem appears quite inconsequential and quite easily surmounted when looked at from a wider perspective than our own personal reaction to it.
