How people think they win the argument by pointing out that you mispelled something?

There is no argument. If the spelling is bad, then it is bad. The same with grammar. I think most people can spell, it is just that they are too lazy to type properly.
If the question is valid, I answer it as honestly as I can, but misspelled questions don't usually attract me.

When in doubt consult the dictionary, its never too late to learn.. The person who thought they won an argument by pointing out that you misspelled something is the biggest looser of all..

I don't think they feel they've won an argument, it's just a puzzle that anything should be misspelled on here. Is it just laziness, or don't people really know how to use the spell checker?

Well,they only think they win so it doesn't matter,does it ? I've seen lots of "Error pointing out" on this site but just keep an eye on the ones who do it and you'll see them slip up too !!

They want to appear smarter then you.
I would understand if they type really bad and don't use any grammar at all, but most times if i mistype one word they start saying how much of a retard i am and how i haven't passed first grade.

It really annoys me when they do that,most of the time you could just mistype not misspell,hey do we all sit there with dictionaries on our laps.Get a life I say.

I only point out that someone misspelled something when their question is something like 'Wy is jimy so stoopid?'
