I can't stand cheese and chips. I once worked with someone who used to have fried bacon and melted cheese baguettes for his lunch - heart attack waiting to happen. I used to love Chips with Mayo but then went to Amsterdam and they smothered the chips in so much mayo that it put me right off! Can't beat Heinz Tomato Ketchup! (Or HP Brown Sauce - yum!!)

Cheese on chips is a contender for "best thing in the world." Get creative, also good is: ketchup (obvious, yeah), mustard, ranch dressing (my favourite), steak sauce, hot sauce.
Edit: Ooh, honey mustard! Up there with ranch, I forgot since I haven't found a good honey mustard in a while.

My boyf like cheese, chip and chilly sauce... its been about for a lonnnnng time....!
To tell you the truth i never heard of it in London, only when I came to uni.... quick, cheap and cheerful..! lol

I HATE mayo with chips, its the sickest thing i could ever think of! and so many people like it! I do like cheesy chips though :D

chips, cheese and curry over the top - even better!
homemade cheese sauce is fantastic on chips too!
