When deleting things from your machine it doesn't completely remove them straight away. Instead they will be moved to the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trashcan (Mac OS). The files will no longer show in the folder you deleted them from but the space is not freed up until you actually empty the Recycle Bin/Trashcan.

If you are using windows Me or 2000 disable SYSTEM RESTORE
and els maybe you have a virus
or maybe your documents and data space is too large

if your format your First Drive (C) and install a new version of windows it will be OK
----------------------------
and the other thing:
if your First Drives Space is very little FDISK your hard and make more space for Drive C

Good Luck

You didn't descibe your computer very well, but when you delete something from your drive it is gone and that space is reclaimed,I think your items were not deleted.
