i really like halo and gears of wars, but i also like metal gear which should i get a ps3 or xbox360

That is a hard one i think i would go with the ps3 cuz i no alot of xbox 360s and they blow up so dont waste ur money. but gears of war is the ****, its a really hard one maybe the xbox 360 cuz u can return it and get insurence for it.

well your question doesnt want to know if you should get a wii. obviously you dont. i dont know why people insist on trying to get people to buy them. i have the wii and it is fun. but back to your question, i have to tell you, i am biased, i love sony and hate microsoft. but i am gonna try and be neutral for once. first off the ps3 doesnt have many games out right now, but everyone know that will change. also, blu ray will catch on. everytime you see a dvd comercial it says now available on dvd and blu ray. you never hear about hd dvd. 3 of my friends have the 360, they all say they like it but ALL of them have returned it at least once. my one friend i work with is on his 4th. and yes, the system is very loud. the ps3 is quiet compared. it took the 360 a year to get gears of war, so in a year, look at the ps3 games, they are gonna be leaps and bounds better than anything the 360 has. technically speaking, the ps3 is a better system. and you can play ps1 and 2 games. the 360 isnt even backwards compatible. what, 10 games work on it from the xbox and they call it backwards compatible. so in conclusion, i would never buy a 360. i have seen and heard to many bad things. i have had my ps3 from the launch and i have had no problems with it. just with lack of games.but you like halo and gears and the ps3 is never gonna get halo, so you really need to think. do some research, because on here you are just gonna get fanboys like me pushing the system they have. good luck

Neither. Get a Wii. They are SO much more fun than any other system, because you are active, unlike those PS3 noobs who have 'everything' in their overpriced console. All you will do if you get a 360 or PS3 is sit in that chair and eat bonbons and get fat. Get a Wii. If you are deadset on hi-def, get 360. PS3 is an overpriced computer without a monitor. (I could get a computer with windows vista for less, and pay internet for a month!!)

Well PS3s are more expensive n who knows the blu ray thing might die out if the price doesnt go down, less money for them to make less games
I heard a lotta ppl that bought 360's, they broke down within the first few weeks. had to send em back to Microsoft,
well might be best to stick wit reg. xbox til ps3 price comes down, or microsoft fixes their prob.
Me, imma get that Wii while im waiting, i heard that was a fun machine.
