I commend the Prince for wanting to be with his troops in Iraq. but because of media, news of his arrival will get there before he does. Do you think he is in more danger than others because of his stature? Will they try everything to get him to use him as a tool for thier own gain for either money or to end this war? The media says his troops will do everything to see to his safety as well as the others, but can they. Al Quida is very sneaky, They can get places no one knows of. I fear for him so much. Does anyone else feel the same way? If he doesn't go, they will say he is a coward and is taking advantage of his title. But, he really wants to go and support his troops. I think he is very brave, but i am also very scared for him. How I pray all of them will come home safely.

Are you sure the body guards are going as well? I'm not up on protocol when it comes to royalty, but he wants to go. Through history princes have fought battles, but I feel the enemy will have knowledge as to his arrival and they might do everything in their power to kidnap him. I believe his comrades will protect him no matter what. I just want him and his troops home without incident. I hope the Brits do pull out of there soon as well as our Americans. I just don't know what to think about this war anymore.

I fee it is very noble of him to want to serve, however. He will be a menace to the troops serving under him. Given he is a member of the Royal family he will be a prime target. This will only put everyone around him in more danger. He should not be allowed to go.

I think it is unnecessary that Prince Harry go to Iraq for military service. The Brits are pulling their troops out, anyway, so why send him there? Not only will he be in danger, but all the poor secret service guys who have to guard him will be putting their lives in danger too.

What else can he do? This is the fate of all superfluous princes throughout history...his brother waits for two people ahead of him to pass on so he can take the throne and younger brother goes into the army as the proxy to show the populace that the royal family is in support of the common grunt in the trenches. Read your history, fluttery young ladies, not the gossip pages.

as long as the media doesn't find out like what battalion he's in or what area that he going to be serving in then i think he shoud be fine. and as long as he remembers what he learned at boot camp then he should be safe soldier. sure if he gets hurt then they're going to pull him out. but shouldn't they do that to every wounded man? and the fact that he joined the army in the first place means that he's got balls and that he wants to prove that he's more that a pretty prince.

Yes he is in danger. I commend him as well and wish him the best of luck. But I am quite worried about the outcome. Though I'm more of a fan for William, I do put Harry in consideration.

He's going to sit in some command room in a secured area telling tanks where to drive.

That is brave, and that is honorable. I don't know much about what it is to be king. But to me that sounds very Kingly. I think that if they want to bring honor back to the crown, they should skip Charles and go right to Harry.
