That's a question i've asked several times. Its not just the Bush but same goes for everyone on Capitol Hill.

There is only one reason that I can think of that possibly the President's daughter/daughters couldn't be deployed to Iraq and that is, they are not in the military. Now my opinion on Prince Harry is that I don't believe the media should have broadcasted such invailing news right off the bat. This might cause "harm" or place Prince Harry in "Harms Way" so do speak. Why do you think that during a war time situation that Generals or high ranking military personel kept a hush hush and didn't want their names or insignia displayed in the open due to enemies or terrorists. now I realize that the Royal military won't disclose Prince Harry's whereabouts once he gets there but if these terrorists have their will/way about themselves they will find Harry...God Forbid! I hope and pray that these troops will protect him but this also places those that are with the Prince in "harms way" also. Now I don't know if our own Presidents daughter's are in the armed forces. But, I imagine if they wanted to go to Iraq they could unless our Government has a rule that pertains that the President's children can't go due to terrorist actions. I wish that Prince Harry wouldn't go but he has his own mind and I can understand his obligations. I wish him all the luck and he definitely has my prayers on a safe return home.

What them join the armed services, hey man they could get killed, what da think, they are stupid or something. Daddy would never send them there because they are in college for the next 2 years and by that time he will be out of office. Prince Harry if he does go will be a commissioned officer in a fighter jet that probably does re cognizant flights out of range of any guns, so don't think he will be in too much danger either. But then again he may see action in the Gulf sitting on board a big war ship. Tony Blair has already said that the troops from Britain are coming home starting next year, maybe Harry will be flying them out of there.

1. Prince Harry chose to attend Sandringham and receive a commission as an Army officer.
2. Prince Harry's deployment is causing vast logistical issues. How many second lieutenants do you know who have security details?
3. As far as I know, Barbara and Jenna Bush have not applied to join the United States armed forces. This is their right. Nobody is currently serving as a draftee. There are recalled reservists and retirees, but no draftees.
4. Since you can't spell "troops," I presume that you are not a serving member of any nation's armed forces. Having served twenty years (and speaking ONLY for myself), I wouldn't have a "nice feeling" at serving with Presidential offspring. Since I wouldn't presume to speak for "the usa troopes [sic]," you shouldn't either. I would prefer to serve with people who WANT to serve, not those who feel compelled to do so for political reasons.
Since you are so eager for others to sign up, I suggest that you set the example and report to your local recruiting office.

Prince Harry 'chose' his commission just as any American can 'choose' his or her military career. Are you claiming that people should be forced to join the military? Don't you want ALL children of Congressional members that supported the Iraq War to be forced also? Nearly 300 members of Congress supported the Resolution, now most of them, and you, want to put all the blame on the President. A spineless lot!

this is a public family grasp stroke.................. Harry would be secure 24/7 by potential of a legion of SAS infantrymen. he won't be put in harms way yet will in all hazard finally end up being portrayed through fact the bravest officer in Iraq. he will in all hazard flow out as quickly as...have a load of pictures taken of him in a tank...then the 'reporting' will provide up and he will disappear into the barren area airborne dirt and dirt ..1000 miles removed from any action there's a lot and a lot of issues happening there which we under no circumstances get to verify approximately. case in point we in simple terms pay attention approximately Iraqi suicide bombers killing their very own human beings...we under no circumstances get to verify what proportion harmless Iraqi's are being killed on a each and on a daily basis foundation by potential of the coalitions forces. My components tell me that harmless civilian deaths kind in the thousands of thousands. Bombs and bullets won't convey this unjustified 'conflict' to an end.

First off the "annie" is soooo wrong. I am a female solider and i'm going so she's on glue. Think of how many female soldiers have already died over there..Dumb *ss.
Anyways i dont think it would have been good for him to go because like they said he would become a higher target and cause more danger to his fellow troops. Don't you think they would love to capture a prince?
I'm really think it's every persons duty for there country to fight a war if there country needs them, however i dont think it should be a mandatory thing. can you imagin if your dad had an important job and told you that you had to go to war?

Good for Prince Harry and It would be nice if they (Bushs) would have joined the service...but sadly that's what you get when you have a volunteer army.
My opinion is that I think as soon as you get out of high school you should serve 2 years...that goes for both male and female.

Great question. If we could put Bushs' daughters in uniform stick a rifle in their hot little hands and ship them off to Iraq the war would be over that afternoon. George would see to that.
