No, not necessarily. I've been in that situation and what was really going on was my "man" was underfunctioning and also manipulating me in a major way. You see, he is pediphile, although I didn't know it when he was my "man" and unconsciously, I was reacting to his manipulation. Now its all out in the open I can see why I had no respect for him. It's a difficult road until the real reasons for issues come to the surface of our minds and we decide to do something about it. Leave of course - is the only option in my scenario. No respect always means lots of issues and a really skilled psychotherapist can help a couple sort all that out and see if there is any hope for their relationship.

Good luck with it all and remember what we see on the surface is only symptomatic of the deeper currents.

if she has lost respect for her man , then he is not the closest and dearest to her, you seen to have implied that losing respect his somehow her fault, he must have done something bad, like cheated on her or lied to her, so the question would be how can he respect him self

No this is completely illogical.

If a woman doesn't have respect for her "man" it could be because she DOES have respect for herself and he falls short of what's expected of him.

You don't demand respect, you earn it -- some men need to learn that.

No, I do not agree with you. There could be small issues with the husband that have somehow induced disrespect. These issues may not be bad to other people--only to the wife. We each have our likes and dislikes and little quirks--that is life and human nature. So sorry and good luck

Disagree. She can have respect for others, but her man may have done something to lose her respect.

Maybe he does not deserve respect. If not then she should not be with him.

Personally I think that if you can't respect yourself you can't respect anyone else.

No way. How do you figure that a husband/wife is closer and dearer to a person than their family? Look at the way a man treats his mother, and you'll see they way he treats his wife. (MOST of the time, anyway) Same with women, only it would be their father, of course.
