There wouldn't be a Ms. or Woman in the oval office for another decade - at least.
We (Americans) DON'T need a Woman of charge of trying to run America!
Politicians will destroy this planet as long as We let them.
The buck NEVER stops with politicians, that's what they live for - $$$ Money $$$! It's all because of $$$$$$$$$$ !

Has anyone stopped to think what it would do to our country to have a woman president? I am all about women having equal rights since i am one, but there are some things that have to be left up to the men. Our re pore with other countries would diminish if a woman was in office for the simple fact that most of them do not respect women on that level. This is a major issue that no one has really stopped to think about.
Aside from not wanting to see a women in office, I really don't want to see Hilary Clinton in office. She's a power hungry person that may not have our best interests in mind

jktoosweet - I am sad that you are (presumably) an american woman. I am curious about where you grew up, just becaue I think it is awful that you think:
"I am all about women having equal rights since i am one, but there are some things that have to be left up to the men. Our re pore with other countries would diminish if a woman was in office for the simple fact that most of them do not respect women on that level. Here is a link to past and present female heads of state around the world. The US is way behind in this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_heads_of_state
In addition, exactly what "repore" with what countries are you worried will diminish? George Bush has destroyed pretty much all of our international relationships.
"There are some things that have to be left up to the men".
How's that going? How are the men doing right now, would you say?

Despite your spate of Hilary-hater answers, I think she would be a good environmental president - that is, if she survives the primaries and the election. She has sharp political elbows and understands how to get things done. She is intelligent and compassionate and businesslike. When the platform fight at the Democratic Convention is over, if there is a strong environmental plank, she will be one of its strongest supporters.
So many things have to fall into place for your assumption to become reality...let's just chill a bit and see how things turn out 19 months from now.

I don't understand the global warming issue,....even if we do our part and we are....what about china, Mexico, and all the other countries that could give a rats *** about global warming.
Ms Clinton might have a chance if she supported the troops more and assume the role of a leader instead of follower.

Hillary Clinton will NOT be the next American president. She's a polarizing cantidate. She does not appeal to moderate voters.
It is very difficult to win an election without appealing to moderate voters.
Nevertheless, given Hillary Clinton's tendency to lay blame on fictional "right wing conspiracies", I doubt that the proverbial "buck" will stop with her on any issue.
