All they care about is making Bush look bad. They like to use dead Soldiers as an example of how we're losing in Iraq. Never mind this...

I am not a republican, but I am conservative and yes I do believe they care about the individual deaths occurring. However, I do not believe that they support the military. In order to support the military properly you must have faith in their ability to complete the mission successfully and the majority of liberals do not believe that we can win period. Unlike many conservatives I do not class this as anti American. The reason I don't is because I believe part of being an American is the right to dissent against that which you don't agree with.

I am a conservative and I support the war.

Our troops are unbelievably selfless and brave.

Comments like Dick Durbin's, comparing the troops to Nazis, are unforgivably cruel and insensitive, and do not seem to evidence anything but contempt for our military. He's not the only one to say such things. It makes me sick that the voters rewarded the Democrats with a majority, after such hateful slander was spoken.

We could ALL do more to support the troops.

If they they don't care about our country, how could they care about our troops and family members. All they care about is how to win the elections in 2008 and is up to us to stop them.. Some crazy Democrat in New York want to create a law that will give all foreigners the right to vote with out being American citizen. You see they don't care about our country,,, we have to stop them before is too late.

I believe even the democrats care for our troops. They just make bad decisions that affect our troops. Decisions that can have deadly results. To say that they dont care when they are being killed is unfair. Even Liberals have value on life.

Lets see. They currently want to stop funding the war effort which in turn effects our troops. Enough said I think.

In their own tunnel vision minds they believe they do. They just can't seem to grasp that their dissension is getting those same soldiers killed and prolonging the action. Just apparently not part of their makeup.

"CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS: Do You Believe That Democrats Care About Our Family Members Fighting in Iraq?"

Yes they do, and the sooner those soldiers are back in America, the better.

And Republicans make up 46% of the military, so the other 54% are non-Republicans.

"In the 2004 poll, the percentage of military respondents who characterized themselves as Republicans stood at 60%. By the end of 2005, that had dropped to 56%. And by the end of 2006, the percentage of military Republicans plummeted to 46%."
