I've been part of this site for about a year. They have a forum where you can see people post proof of payment. You earn money for doing easy totally free surveys. There are also trials and other offers, some are totally free some cost money. I got a check on Friday for $225 and that was for 1 month just in my spare time. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Most of those "work at home" offers are "pyramid schemes." They only work by selling you a product of minimal value, and you have to constantly recruit new members to make ANY money at all. Eventually, you're going to run out of members, and then it all collapses on you like a ton of bricks. The only really legit way to make money working at home that I've seen is medical transcription and billing, but you don't make a lot of money and it is hard work.

As of right now I've enrolled in 2 that dont have associated start up costs tied in with them. They arent million dollar money makers but the extra cash and the long term potential from them are a great way to supplement some income.

I prefer the prizebook site because unlike inboxdollars it is well designed, and has the choice to have your cash deposited directly into a paypal account.

I payed a fee for a franchise of the company, which means I can legally sell the service they offer and I get paid a percentage of their bill, I get paid as long as they stay a customer. Every month they pay their $30 phone bill and I get a percentage of that. The more costumer's I have the more the percentage is the lowest percentage is 5% and after you have 15 customers the percentage goes up. I can also recruit other company reps and I will get 1/2% of the customers they sign up, they and I also will get tax right offs and all other benefits that business owners receive. E-mail me if you want more info.

eBay is a good option. You can work on your schedule and do as much as you need or want to. You can fit eBay in around other things in your life like children, another job, family, etc.
This will help you get started on ebay if you are not familiar with how to sell:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Stay-At-Home-Moms-Guide-to-Successful-Ebay-Selling_W0QQitemZ9511531157QQihZ007QQcategoryZ102483QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
This guide explains what kinds of things to sell, where to find them, how to use eBay, about shipping, and to get started TODAY, with no financial investment. (I started out 4 years ago with less than $20 and have sold 12,000 during that time.)

No, they are all scams. Beware of jobs that are 'to good to be true'
Because they are!
