I am a total klutz and I want to improve my balance so that I will do better in sports.

here is an excercise from a physical therapist: stand on one foot and hop up an ddown ten times without letting the other foot touch the ground, switch and repeat. Just keep doing that it will help tone the muscles and improve balance

when i was taking tae kwon do, i had to do these jumps that worked out my leg muscles and improved my balance. You start from a squat and jump up. When you're at the crux of your jump, pull in your legs as close to you as possible, then land in a squat to prepare for the next jump.
Your hands should be behind your neck like in crunches and situps

Try practicing you balance on a plank of wood or something... You'll eventually get your balance. Practice your balance everyday...

I know its boring, but practice.

Try stanging on thin ledges and try not to fall off
