has anyone ever heard of the contraceptive patch its a patch you stick on your arm and it works like the pill has anyone ever used one? whats it like? did it work for you? im 17 and on the pill but dont really like taking it and i heard of this the other day do you think it would be suitible for me?

I know people that have used it and like/d it. I am currently using Nuvaring, which is a plastic ring that is inserted into the vagina and left in place for 3 weeks, removed for one, a new one then inserted. It works like the pill, it is a hormonal contraceptive and it is as effective as the pill and the patch. If you hate remembering, you should look into it or ask your doc about it. I mean... who wants to walk around wearing birth control in plain sight? lol. NUvaring might be something that would interest you.

That's not the only new thing now. Check with your doctor. You have things now that can protect up tp 5 years.
