Yes. I think everyone has on some level. I have been hurt and trampled on by one guy in my past for like 5 yrs and trust me it was no picnic. The key is to never lose faith that you will eventually find that special person for you. Once I let go of that guy I just mentioned I made a few wrong turns but ended up exactly where I belong. Now I am having a baby any day now and I am engaged to a great guy. See? Happily ever after truly does exist. Good luck!

i'm pretty sure this question is almost the same as asking if anybody has ever breathed before.....everyone has been hurt in someway by the opposite sex....for some it started as early as a parent.....we all know what pain feels like some just have been through a lot more than others

Yes-very badly. I trusted him more than anyone,he said he loved and respected me-I totally believed in him. 2 1/2 years of happiness and faith in him-we never argued as we seemed to be of the same mind. Then suddenly I find out he's on a dating site and handing out contact details to women. He claims they're 'just friends' and nothing ever happened. From the one I spoke to that seems to be the truth-but why go on there in the first place? We're still together-but I'm a crying, chain smoking, not eating wreck.

Yes, my ex boyfriend left me to be with his former girlfriend. Broke my heart to shreds: I lost over a stone in weight, drank myself stupid and cried myself to sleep every night. It was agony and I thought I'd never find someone who'll love the way I want/need to be loved.

I know it sounds corny, but in time (around 3 months) I started to heal and was able to start enjoying my life again. Eventually started seeing someone new and been together for 2 years now.
