i missed my period by like a week now I spotted one spot 2 weeks or so ago. I'm irregular like every 38 days i get af. I tested before my missed period and like 3 and 4 days after. the conception calculator says that i woud be 4 weeks and 5 days along if i were am i testing too soon?? how far along were you before you got a positive hpt. ???

You could be testing to soon, but really that shouldn't be the case. I would wait another week and if still nothing by then and still a negative HPT, then call the dr's. request to have a blood test. Otherwise they will do the same type of test that you do at home. My Dr's office does not do the Pee on a stick kind like most because when she was 7 months pregnant she was at a conference and she took an HPT to prove something and it came back negative. For some reason Peeing on a stick does not work for everybody. But if you are pregnant than a blood test will know right away. Good luck to you! I know what a Horrible time this can be! Been there done that! but I had too much stress and my af was just delayed about 2 weeks. I hope that is not the case for you!

Everyone is different and some women take longer for the HCG to get to their urine. I would get a blood test by a dr to know for sure. Good Luck!!
