.Yes, I'm a cynic! Especially where the Government is concerned but about a lot of other things too. I think you need to be a cynic these days so you don't get caught out being too gullible!

So many people, it seems have an underlying motive. It's sad but true.

I'm not sure I'm becoming more cynical through life experience, but I am more cynical about some things. I find it ironic that in our American society, people who treat others badly (they are mostly called "bosses" and "managers!") advance, while those who show kindness make minimum wage and struggle to afford essentials like insurance. I guess society makes me more cynical than life experience. I think we've become a nation of hypocrites. We say one thing, then do the total opposite, and can't understand why people are upset with our behavior.

With the amount of lies and violence that is shoved in our faces, I have become cynical over the years. At the end of the day, everything to do with anything is about gaining more, any way possible and we shovel the drivel we are fed down our throat faster than the politicians, managers, powers that be can shovel it out of their butts. Cynical, yes. Open to the true face of humanity, definately. There is however nice folk out there and I have met some of them so my opinion of human nature is not totally ruined

I try hard to be a good citizen and try to get excited about things. However its all a masquerade as my life experiences have pummelled me into the ground and made me realise its a hopeless game that we can never win...but its all about keeping the faith and having hope, so I guess I'll just put one more dime into life's slot machine and see what happens!
