3) Get myself a holiday work permit.. then seek for employment during my stay in Australia...

G'day,

This weblink might be of interest for you:
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/index.htm

1. Not recommended. It might cost you more (accommodation etc) and you might not get anything. If I can suggest (this is what I did last time I was planning to work to Australia), find a work 'connection' or source from your own employer who might have some business-relationship with Australian companies and apply with that reference. This might get you the job sooner and easier. Of course if you are not working now, it is a bit hard, but without working experience, it's hard to get a job in Australia anyway.
2. This is more realistic. You are a Malaysian, with UK degree equivalent (I take it that you got your UK degree in Malaysia?) which will be recognised in Oz anyway. It may not be as hard as you might think and the weblink that I provided gives you some info as well.
3. I'm not sure if a Malaysian can get holiday work permit for Oz though. If you can... good. But I have to say that your chance will be as good as Point 1.
4. Yes and no, depending on whether or not you got a work experience (in Malaysia). If you got accounting background, make sure the course you want to take will enable you to get CPA membership, then it will give you more 'umph' to your qualification.

Hope this helps. E-mail me at mikegun@studentfirst.com.au if you have any further queries. Good luck and welcome to Australia.

If you do this you will require a student Visa and all the attached requirements such as Certificate of Enrolment from Uni. Totally different requirements. However much easier to gain Residence Visa. Also remember your qualifications as Accountant must be assessed and approved by CPA Society..Even with Stae ponsorship you require work experience.
