There are many makes of lip plumpers out there: Philosophy, Eve Lom, Model Co, Pout, Du Wop - they all work in roughly the same way: An ingredient is added (menthol, chilli, peppermint) to stimulate the blood cells and make blood rush to the area they are applied to. This causes the lips to swell slightly and a fuller appearance is achieved. I like Eve Lom Kiss Mix - it is a small tub of lip balm that has a minty flavour and works in the way just described - it costs about £12 but lasts for ages. Boys like it too!
