What is Pumbers element? I cant seem to find it on the interent, maybe im not putting in the wrong words, but it just comes up with plumbing contractors..
Its part of my course work, and I cant find it anywhere! xxx

Ancient pipes were made from the element Lead. In Latin, this was Plumbum, which is why the atomic symbol for Lead is Pb.

Could be lead (pb) ; "plumb"um. Or if it a question or like a clue for crossword as in what they use, plumber in the present day use copper (Cu.)....or plastic but thats a compound (usually different hydrocarbons.)

I suspect the answer you're after is Pb - Lead (or plumbium is it's Latin name).

A plumb-line is a builders tool (read: a string with a lead weight on) for finding vertical.

I have checked the internet and come up with lead (element),
which makes sense as plumbers lead.

Pb - lead what pipes used to be made of.

now a days it's copper, but you're probably thinking about solder
