My friend recalls vaguely the plot of an old zombie movie, possibly from the 1970's but doesn't know what it was called. It's going to bug me until I find out. Here's the plot...
A man lives in the countryside (possibly Australia) in a house with his mother. His mother gets bitten by a monkey (maybe at the zoo) and goes mental. They later fight off zombies from their rural home.
