Passports: Passport valid for three months beyond length of stay required by all, except:
1. nationals of EU countries, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino and Switzerland holding valid national ID cards.

So by all accounts, if you are British, you are fine!

Sorry don't understand what the problem here is. You are going in 2 weeks time, staying for one week and your passport ends in July 2007.

So you leave and are back in the UK by the end of March.

I know what you mean, but I don't think there is any restriction to the length of time a passport has left to run for a British ciizen visiting an EU country.

EU destination should be fine. Be a different story if you were going to the States. The US used to insist on 6 months minimum remaining on a passport.

Think its 3 months.

Did you know you can go to a post office and get them to fill out the forms for 7 pounds and you get it back within fourteen days guaranteed .

I did it the other week got them to fill out the form on Tuesday and unbelievably the new passport was there on Thursday same week.
