Not sure what the problem is but the server doesnt even seem to recognise the .asp extension. I installed the server yesterday and am rather new to server 2003 so any suggestions would help. I have check in IIS 6.0 and the Active Server Page bit is enabled.

I have a few follow up questions for you!

Does it serve .html and .htm pages?
Did you create a Web Site?
Did you assign the Web Site an IP address?
How did you test to see if the page was working? Did you create a text file and rename it default.asp and put it in the root of the web directory you created for the web site?
What error does it give you when you try to view a page? (on this make sure you turn off simple web errors on your web browser so it will give you the real error response from the server)
How did you try an access the site, by typing the IP into the browser or did you assign a domain name to it?
Also is the domain name working properly on its DNS?

There could also be permissions issues with the site. Maybe the anonymous user isnt assigned. Or rights are assigned incorrectly to the web directory.
