Yes, I had great fun. It was many years ago. Two friends and I drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas after seeing an ad in the paper that said they needed extras for the Martin Scorsese film "Casino". Being fans, we thought we would take a shot at it, and have a bit of an adventure. We went to the casting office and all of us were chosen to be guests in the wedding scene. We spent hours in hair and makeup and wardrobe, to get that 70s look, and spent hours on the set with "Marty", Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci. We were treated very well, and earned enough money to pay for our trip. We didn't get much sleep, and did spent a lot of time waiting around. But since this was an EVENT for us, we enjoyed every second of it.

All you would be one extra is a concepts, and the flexibility to persist with straightforward instructions - there's no appearing required. putting it on your appearing resume will serve no objective, and could probable pass against you. case in point, in case you have been one extra in a coach, and you audition for a factor in the comparable coach, you will stand little threat of being solid (a minimum of it quite is the way it is going with some exhibits in the united kingdom). additionally, once you're under-18 you will could be accompanied via a discern or guardiam, as you would be too youthful to sign workplace work.

It was one of the most BORING experiences I have ever endured. Endless waiting around, punctuated by brief visits to the set for short bursts of filming.

Worst of all, the people you're waiting around with all day long are all would-be actors, all of whom want to tell you endless stories of their lousy agents, etc.

I'd rather gargle rusty razor blades than do THAT again.
