Nobody is born to fail. Failure begins with the environment that a person is raised in and people who fail in life carry the habit forward into their adulthood. The process of continuing in failure can be halted, and quite often is. Every failure has a role model that he/she follows, and every success has a role model that he/she follows. In our society today the role models most offered up to children and young adults are failures, that is sports athletes, thugs and white collar criminals. The ultimate role model is Jesus Christ, but his lifestyle is rejected because it does not conform to the world.

Kamikaze!

Kamikaze is a word of Japanese origin, which in English usually refers to the suicide attacks by military aviators from the Empire of Japan, against Allied shipping, in the closing stages of the Pacific campaign of World War II.

Motoori Norinaga wrote a poem:

If someone asks about the Yamato [predominant ethnic group in Japan] spirit of Shikishima [a poetic name for Japan]

It is the flowers of yamazakura [mountain cherry blossom ] that are fragrant in the Asahi [rising sun].

Why? Are you thinking of joining the Kamikazes? Don't forget to wear your seat belt! ;-)
