Life is a sacrafice. We are always sacrificing something whether for ourselves or for someone else for happiness.

One can not be happy as long as one believes one has paid a price or made a sacrifice!! Molding the mind to get to the state of happiness is not a sacrifice, it is an endeavor of the highest order!!

Of course! Even though you may have worked hard for something and may have given up some time to do so, you were working towards a goal to achieve happiness. I don't consider that a sacrafice or paying a price..
I consider that the pursuit of happiness!

If you are calling "price/sacrifice" growing and learning through trials in life....then I say no. There is a lot to learn about who we are to even get to the point of accepting the types of things and people/places that put smiles on our faces. Making good judgement and learning from our mistakes is a great way to start inviting happiness. My best to you.

Of course there could. Why would sacrifice be imperative in achieving happiness? Requiring a price to be paid or sacrifice be made only puts limitations on one's ability to achieve it. Happiness is a state of mind one chooses. One can be happy in the most miserable of circumstances if one chooses to be. Count your blessings, be grateful for what you have, ever striving to be and do better. Be conscious in your choices, focus on happiness, and it will be yours.

There could be but it's nothing compared to a happiness after you toiled for it.
Wouldn't it be sweeter when you've had accomplished something out of your sweat and blood? Which is more accomplishing, climbing to the peak of the mountain or riding a helicopter to reach the summit?

A sense of accomplishment is the foundation of joy. One cannot see the true of value if he/she was not able to endure tremendous obstacles along the way and until the last part where they say "I succeed"..
