You might have a virus. Clean that up. Check the settings of your Hibernation or Sleep mode. Maybe you should turn that off.
Right click on your C Drive, and pick Properties. Pick the Tools section and click on CHECK NOW. Then pick both tests. This will run CHKDSK at startup. Let it run all the way through.
Chkdsk means Check Disk.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

Your drive is getting confused in the file index tables, partially due to the shutdowns, probably caused by bad capacitors in taiwan made PSUs.
Get at least a 500 Watt PSU! Do it before the mainboard is tracshed and the CPU blows!
And, if the mainboard is from Taiwan, well, they kept making them, using defective capacitors for years AFTER they knew of the problem! Taiwan permitted FRAUD against the consumers,
worldwide, for over $100Million!
Then, look for any electrolytic caps with an X score on top, if they are leaning over, or the top is not perfectly flat, they are blown, and will kill the regulators and the CPU!
Avoid all Taiwan made comuter and consumer products! They also do not offer refunds or warranty on these expensive troubles! I lost 8 computers, so far!

you should never, ever turn off and on your computer many times in a day,. it is bad for your computer, and it will ruin your HD (harddrive) faster, because everytime you turn it on, the electric inside the computer starts on, start up all the things inside, including yoru HD, electric built-up, and it's more harm than safe. So, leave the computer on running in sleep mode or hibernating mode, then turn it off before you go to bed.
If you don't turn off your computer "properly" (by clicking Start, Shut down or Turn of computer), you'll ruin your computer and the system, because the computer doesn't have a chance to close the programs and itself down properly, thus you're getting that chkdsk message all the time because of improper shut down the computer.
Let's computer fix the error for you, by try this. Double click My computer, right click your C: Local Drive icon, select Properties, click Tools tab (on the top), click Check Now to have it checks errors for you, check both boxes, and Start to check. Do this once a month or so, to keep your computer healthy (and this is just a part of keeping it healthy, there are more to it)

Run it!!!!!
chkdsk = Check Disk.
It literally scans the sectors on your Hard drive for any sort of faults which it then tries to fix if it can.
