To be honest : no, cuz I never read the other answers until AFTER I've submitted mine, so as not to get influenced by them.
(and like you I then often find far more better answers than mine, and wish I'd thought of that....however, I never change mine because of it, cuz then, in my view, I'd be cheating)

to star 1 means sharing your answers with other user's or that question

sometimes i do that, though i dont usually read other peoples answers before doing my own. I star questions that i find interesting, and sometimes i dont have time to anwer it - have 3 small kids!!!!

yeah all the time, i usually go for the ones that haven't been answered yet because then you get the first word.

yeah haha...well not because the answers are better, just because my mind goes blank and I know if I tried to answer I'd spend ages thinking about it and it'd drive me mad :D
