They're permitted because it defends every person's right to freely express their views so long as they do it in a manner which causes no physical damage or harm to any third party.

So a Nazi propagandist recruiting in the street - legal
A Nazi gang beating crap out of a young Jewish lad - illegal.

It's all to do with the right to express your own opinions regardless of what they may be - freedom of speech.

The United States is composed of Capitalism, Socialism, and Communism. Most people don't realize this.

Under capitalism, people are encouraged and rewarded for developing and maintaining business enterprise.

Under Socialism, people who fail in business have a safety net to get back on their feet and try again. Unfortunately, many people get stuck here. Welfare is a socialist program.

Under Communism, that describes the US Military entirely. When a person signs up for the military, if they read the fine print, that person assigns all rights to their body over to the US Government. The Government owns them. The Government can do experimental testing on them if they want without their permission.

So, under the Constitution, all persons are allowed freedom of speech. The Nazi's are voicing their viewpoints. So long as they don't act contrary to other people's rights, they have the right to say what they want.

I would much rather know about their viewpoints and make my own decisions, than live in a country where I was not allowed to have an alternate viewpoint different than that of the Government.

In some countries, you would have been put to death for asking this question. Because the Nazi party doesn't exist, and you would be seen as promoting an alternate viewpoint inconsistent with Government policy.

The Constitution doesn't specifically permit or forbid any form of political beliefs. You can beleive whatever you want to. I beleive that would actually be one of your first ammendment rights. As long as you don't do anything illegal, any party can believe anything. To forbid any one party would be completely going against everything American stands for, and would simply be a form of quieting dissenters. I do have to disagree however with the statement "We are the political party for every patriotic American". That sentence alone angers me quite a bit. I think the NSM might be the embodiment of everything the United States doesn't stand for. We embrace things such as equality and freedom, both of which the Nazi Parti considers taboo. I took a look at the website, and all it seems to be is a giant propoganda page mixed with loosely based claims with no real point. White power is a ridiculous concept, and has no real foundation on which to stand. Whether a person be Jewish, Black, White, Asian, or anything else it doesn't really matter. No one race is better than another, and that seems to be something that the NSM can't grasp. I would consider myself patriotic. When I see the flag waving I get a tingling feeling in my back, I have a great deal of respect for anyone in uniform, I'm proud to call myself an American, and I can honestly say that I despise everything that the National Socialist Movement stands for.

Your Furher, Adolf Hitler, was a mass murdering psychopath that caused the needless death of many millions of people. He set up concentration camps and extermination camps. He created a living hell.

I guess our Constitution allows the Nazi party to exist for comedic relief. So that the people remember the shame that Hitler could bring to humanity?

Hitler was a high official in the German Democrat Socialist party before Mousalini and him joined as the Nazi party. Our own Democrat party has a lot in common with Hitler's views.

The US Constitution does not permit the Nazi Party or any other party per se. Rather, the US Constitution allows political freedom for all parties, Nazi, Communist, Republican, Democrat, ... you name it.

The only thing outlawed by US law is the violent overthrow of our constitutional form of government. If a Nazi or a Communist is legally elected to office by the voters, then the election is legitimate!

No. It isn't a contradiction. The supporters of this party have the right to try to gain representation, no matter how unlikely it is. It's called Freedom of Speach and Freedom of Assembly. I don't see anyone dismantling the Black Panthers or the Ku Klux Klan. Why don't you just let these people be? They will prove more than handy at humiliating their own selves, without our assistance.

The same reason the constitution allows the socialist party. Socialist, communists, democrats and other left oriented thought is completely opposite the intention of the contitution.

It's called freedom. That's the foundation of the United States and her Constitution.

Your Führer Adolf Hitler was a lunatic. People who follow his ideology today are allowed to do so due to the First Amendment of Free Speech. Hitler would have baked you clowns in ovens or shot you if you said one wrong thing. You are messed up and you sure as hell don't represent me.
