I really need your help. I think I have found a job i really like the look of, and although it's not exactly in term time, i think it could be good for the time being.

It is a food taster for a local firm, and luckily, i am already familiar with their products, and like them.

The application form has a section where they ask for my reasons for applying for a position with them.

Apart from the obvious (money), how can i word it so that they will say "oh she sound good, let's give her a shot".

I need some help, please

I see you've reposted the question. I'm curious, though... what's "term time"?

Oh, and something else that may work is saying that you'd like to try something before it goes out because you're curious.

1. Compliment them! Say that you have been a fan of their food for a long time and the chance to work for them would be a dream come true.

2. Compliment yourself! Say that food has always been a passion of yours so you have the skills and enthusiasm to carry out the tasks they require perfectly.

3. Show ambition! Say that it has always been an aspiration of yours to work for a food company and you feel this job is the perfect way to get your foot in the door of this rewarding industry.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Louise you have already started to answer it. You enjoy their products already and have used them for some time. You are applying for a position with them because you know you will be an asset to them in that you are honest and hardworking and would enjoy this particular type of work. You are aware of the brand and its position in the market and would be pleased to work in that role assisting to keep their brand a 'brand leader'. Good Luck D
