oh my god that man is the funniest man ever i remember seeing him on a programme called Viva cabaret many years ago when he first started out and he was fantastic then, i have all his tours on DVD and he is the only comedian who i can watch again and again and still laugh. But his best ever is the mime to Bohemian Rhapsody
"so where you from, where you from? Manchester? my kind of town, so any else in here from Leeds?"

I think he is great,
I used to work for a large electrical retailer in Essex which is near his home and i served him, he was really shy on a one to one basis but people started asking him to tell them jokes so he stood on one of the podiums and gave a 30 minute set from his then new show. so i will forever love him

He's a comic genius - I wish I could see more of him. I saw this one sketch of his on TV where he was on a french train going to the loo, and it turned out to be one of those squatting loos. There was this bit where his tie hung down into the bowl and he just said looked up with one of those looks and said "Qu'est ce que c'est?" Brilliant.

i don't like him at all, bit slapstick for my liking, all silly faces and talking funny. ricky gervais on the other hand is a genius!
