I've been kinda depressed lately, so it takes a batallion of hugging clowns to make my mouth move slightly.

"You always feel like you have to pee and most of the time you stand there and nothing comes out."
"Ah, that's nothin," said the 70-year-old. "When you're seventy, you don't have a bowel movement any more. You take laxatives, eat bran, sit on the toilet all day and nothin' comes out!"
"Actually," said the 80-year -old, "Eighty is the worst age of all."
"Do you have trouble peeing, too?" asked the 60-year old.
"No, I pee every morning at 6:00. I pee like a racehorse on a flat
rock; no problem at all."
"So, do you have a problem with your bowel movement?"
"No, I have one every morning at 6:30."
Exasperated, the 60-year-old said, "You pee every morning at 6:00 and crap every morning at 6:30. So what's so bad about being 80?"
"I don't wake up until 7:00."

i smile when i get alot of answers to my questions, if i get stars, or a best answer... i also smile at jokes, laugh at some, and some movies can get me to laugh though not many. I smile alot, but laugh hardly ever. Cheer up and smile anyways, it always lifts you up enough to make you a little better, then all of a sudden things start going your way and it's a downhill battle to laughter from there.

Watch a baby laugh, or a dog play. I like when my bulldogs get happy when you ask them "wanna a cookie?" and their butts wiggle, or when my baby boy looks at me and smiles for no reason....they make me smile no matter what kind of day or week or year I've been having.

Sorry to hear you're depressed, hope you manage to get out of it sooner than later.
As to your question : it takes hardly anything to make me laugh already, no matter whether I'm deeply depressed or more or less down to normal. (I consider it a huge blessing, wish you had it too)

It's nigh on impossible. I'm just not a smiley person.
I'm not depressed (anymore), I just don't find stuff that funny.
