I have this co-worker who borrowed a book and a CD from me, but refuses to give them back to me. How do nicely ask for them back? Or how do I ask for the money to replace the things. I think she has lost my CD and I would really like it back. How do I go about aske for it back?

Easy. Politely ask her 4 the CD and book back that she borrowed. Say something like "I was wondering what u thought of the book I lent u or have u not finished it" and ask a similar ??? 4 the CD as well. If she does not respond ask her 4 the $$ it will cost 2 replace them. Good Luck.......may the force b with u.

first off borrowed things you should never have to ask for back....they should be given back in a timely manner in the same condition or better than when they borrowed it....people often forget this but yea i would just ask for my things back....tell her you need them by a certain date or you are going to need the money to replace them....if you feel weird doing it just say they weren't even yours that you borrowed them to begin with and you need to return them....it takes the weight off of your shoulders

Ask them if they'd lost it and then if they have, let them know you liked them so much and would like to get compensated for that. A nice person would buy them even without you asking.
