Yeah, beauty is an advantage because people get to notice a beautiful woman first. Commercialism has put much emphasis on a woman's physical attribute. Men appreciate beautiful women much more than the plain Janes.

In some ways yes because they are easier on the eye. I find this annoying though and shallow, but it is true. However, it is also a huge advantage in life to be intelligent. People won't get very far in life being ignorant.

It has been scientificly proven that for meeting people/interviews/having interest from the opposite sex etc will be higher for someone of so called better looks and better appearance....... but does that give an advantage? in 'my opinion' it would be a yes but does that make them nicer people or even more interesting so i want to buy them a drink down the pub... then that is a no.

(ANS) being physically beautifull or pretty is something that our culture, our society places great emphasis upon.

But to be honest with you I trained as a professional dancer for three years at one of the UK's top dance training schools (the Laban centre in London). That was many years ago and I was surrounded each day by some very pretty young woman.

But not many of them impressed me much, being pretty is one thing but having real charisma is something else entirely.

**If you have beauty & charisma doors open for you in ways that you cannot even imagine. No! its inner beauty or charisma that's far more striking.

**Of course some people are born with & have natural charisma and allure, you cannot help being dawn towards them as a person. Its how they are inside & not just the surface beauty that counts in my opinion.

**You can have a a stunning looking dancer or model but he or she may be utterly boring when you approach them and talk to them. They are shallow, inexperienced, have no depth or knowledge. Someone with real charisma may not be so stunning but they have a depth and have something that draws you to them, they are fascinating in many many ways.

Yes. It's full of advantages. One disadvantage though would be the envy of others. Another disadvantage could be the hatred and malevolence of others.

Anyhow, don't worry about that. Being pretty is being sought after, even by pretty people who wish to become prettier!

There is more to life than pretty looks, beauty is in the eye of the beholder(so they say).Many pretty beautiful people are horrible people who don't care a fig about anyone else as long as they're OK!

Yes it is and it starts right when a child is born. People compliment you by saying she is beautiful whether true or not. A lot of beautiful people get away with things for the way they look. And an attractive face is bound to attract positivity its human nature to smile at a pleasant sight.

Depends what you want out of life. If you want to marry a rich bloke and sit on your bum all day then it's probably a bonus.

I would say that having brains in much more advantageous and having both is even more so.

well yes its kind of. since when you are beautiful you can get friends easily and get lots of things without trying but in some cases no. if you are beautiful but dont use your beauty for your own good then no you are not taking advantage!

Yes, but it's not all good. It may get you the job you want but social interactions can suffer. Guys, we all know how our IQ seems to drop 20 points in front of a beautiful woman and our expectations of them are usally quite high. When you are beautiful it's not ok to be average.
