It's about consistency. Beckham has hardly played any games for Madrid recently. His couple good games don't make up for how poor he was in the world cup.

Fabio Capello is very ego driven and anyone who conflicts with his personality or ideas will progressively removed from the team. This form of managing has not worked especially well and now his job is in jeopardy because his success is measured in wins and his way is not working. Beckham coming back to the team showed that he was put on the bench for no good reason and he is trying to get rid of many of the other stars that are left. Ronaldo is already gone and has showed that he can still play in his debut with AC Milan.

i think it dont just tell capello he should always play but also steve mclaren should be picking him now for the england team i dont like beckham they say lennon needs to learn his trade in the england team and that he has a load of pace i say ok loads of pace but beckham may be slow but i think he makes up for that with what he can do with a ball so come on recall beckham for england

no, its says that now the "pop star" decided to play some real futball(soccer)! he's been a bench warmer for the longest time ... capello was right in all that he said! david is going to have to show us( real madrdid fans) that he's a true player at heart because in my eyes he isnt!this is one of the best teams EVER so he better step up his game at ALL TIMES!!! plus he was just an extra because there were alot of people injured!

Beckham is a great player and there's no doubt about that.
pd: Ronaldinho sucked in the world cup too and nobody mentions that. and he still is a good player.

it tells capello that he needs to accept that he was wrong and that they need becks. he can cross the ball better than any1 in this world so i think capello should be made to eat his words.
also maclaren should pick him. macca is so cruel he's just jealous of becks. lennon is good but he still needs to devolop. he is young
