Open My Computer and right click on your C: drive (or any other hard drive you have too) and click properties. This will tell you the free space of your drive as figures and in a pie diagram.

if you're referring to hard disk space, this is what you will do:

1. double click My Computer icon on the desktop
2. right-click on the hard disk icon which is by default drive C:
3. Click properties

a properties window will appear showing you how much space you have used and space you have left on your hard disk =)

Hy....well you mean to say how much free space you have on your hard drive, right, then you just have to go to (open or explore) "My Computer", find your local drive C (or if you have more partitions then find C, D, E....etc) then right click on "Local Drive (C)", or whatever your primary partition may be named, and click "properties", and that will show you a graphical image of your drive with all free or used space you may have.....

Go My Computer >
C: Drive >
Right Click, and go down to Properties

OR

Just drag your mouse over the icon, should tell you how much is left, and how much is in the actual drive

The shortcut to My Computer is likely on the desktop by default. open this, then right-click on the C: Drive and choose Properties. Ta-da! :)

Agree with the first two answerers...but if you have more than one drive (I have three) you will need to do the same to them.
