Would you say "I live in Ermou Street" and "I live at 18 Ermou Street" or something else? By the way, "18" would be a cardinal or ordinal number?

Both are correct really, depending on the information you want to give. "I live in 18 Ermou Street" would be incorrect, as would "I live at Ermou Street"

Just to confuse the matter, I would say "I live on Ermou St, at No 18"

Try I live in County in Town at number 18 Ermou street, post code number, even I could find you then.Or have a sticky back label printed you can hand out or stick on your mail as we do, they are quite cheap for a thousand or five hundred , you can then put them in your purse or wallet, and habd out to who ever inquire for your address

Ordinal...1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc
Cardinal..1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
My address is in Welsh and I have to spell out every name to an English speaker over the phone...a bit of a bind.
House name/number, street,village,town ,county and post code.

Just tell them where you live, what do you mean 18 is cardinal or ordinal number.Everything is so simple in live why try to complicate them?

I would never give out my address in case I owed them lol But serouisly I would say I reside at so and so If I was being asked by an employer etc but I live at so and so if a freind
