u'r bout to cross a road and a car comes, so u go to step out and then stop, not sure if the car will stop, then the car goes to move and stops, thinking u'r bout to go.
just wondering has anyone actually ever been hit by that car??

you are not alone, have had this happen several times, once the car actually did bump me. It is like playing "chicken" but the car usually wins. miscalculation on my part I always thought the pedestrian had the right of way

yip, a friend of mine - she stepped out and then froze, so she wasnt moving, and the car came round the corner, slowed right down cos it saw her but expected her to move, which she didnt (bona fide "deer in headlights" situation) so the car was practically crawling along but didnt stop and it hit her! Even though the car was going sooo slowly she still broke her ankle and it resulted in plenty operations and leg cast for bout 9months. that;s why they say "look left look right look left AGAIN"

Ive never been hit by "that" car but I was "that" car several times intentionally.......Playing Grand Theft Auto!! lol
