I am with this guy who's been sending me all kinds of signals in the last two months, he seems interested in me but he does not get to the point. He's white and am African. just need your advise really.

you need to ask him straight out, go for it, bite the bullet, at least then you will know. good or bad then at least you can move in the direction you want to. good luck x

Ok, I'm not too familiar with dating white guys and all, but I reckon you can either play the waiting game and continue to take your time getting to know each other, or, you can be bold and lay it all out on the table (however, this is sometimes risky and can push a man in the opposite direction).

Personally, I say take your time! Go for drinks, socialise, flirt and make it be fairly obvious that you're interested! Trust me, men are stupid and don't get the idea of being subtle. You have to make it overtly obvious that you're feeling him, however if after all this and he still sending mixed signals, then chances are he's not really into you.

One of two options dear:

First Option: The Long Way
If you choose this path…keeping in mind that you have some sparks for the guy, then you have to be very patient and leave things to flow normally as they should. Choosing this path, you have chosen that the guy is leading the way through [i.e. He moves, you move…he stops, you freeze].

Second Option: The Short Way
Choosing this path is much more interesting…at least to me. This would involve indirectly helping him out to speak his heart. This option also needs patience and tolerance and most importantly….you have the same feeling towards him !

My Recommendation:
This guy is a bit shy and maybe as well not expecting any kind of feeling from your part…give him a helping hand…copy cat his moves, if he signals you…simply signals him back. Let me know which path you’ll choose and the updates…I’ll be happy to walk it through with you

The race thing shouldn't be a problem. But guys- be they white black or brown are all the same. They struggle with the emotional part of love. See, women love with their hearts and their minds, but men love their bodies. You can always tell him how you feel and tell him that you are reading the signals that he is sending in a "i like you' way. Good luck /been there done that. its not easy, but u gotta do it. For you own sake. k

My advice is stop whining like a baby and tell him how you feel, all women expect the man to make the first move. If you like him, ask him out, if not, find someone else, Dont think that just because you are the girl he should have to do all the work because relationships are a 2 way thing

Ask him? Maybe he has never been with a black woman before and it's making him nervous, or maybe it's holding him back? If it's either of those reasons then kick him to the curb, you want him to see you not your colour.
Or maybe he's just really really shy? I think you need to ask him, because many a time two shy people meet up, like each other and nothing happens because they are, well, too bloody shy! Seize the day!

U must talk to him and make the set-up so he is free to talk to u. U can plan your next step only after the initial ice is broken, and he is comfortable to confide in u.
