if he wants his parents to know then he will tell them. he confessed to you because he trusts you and this could just be a phase or crisis he's going through, so if you go and tell his parents, and it turns out he is gay after all, then it has just created a huge situation that could have been avoided. Needless to say he told you because he trusts you enough to do so- you'll betray his trust and damage your relationship by going around and yelling it to everyone. Let him work it out and be there for support. he needs you during this tough time in his life.

Why should you tell his parents? Isn't that a choice than only your friend has the right to make for himself since it's his life and not yours? You shouldn't do anything but just be there for your friend whenever he needs you, that's all.

Well, personally I think that you should like find out more details, like how it feels to touch a girls bosoms and then ask him if he does it in public, like in restrooms at clubs and stuff. Oh, then ask him if he has sex with lots of girls, like all the time, I mean like hundreds of parties and stuff, where there's drugs and booze and chemicals and gross stuff like that. You could also ask him what it feels like to stick the thingy in the thangy and then ask him if it's ok that you don't agree with his lifestyle, but anyway you kind of feel comfy around him, but not a lot. Oh, ask him if it's ok that you tell all your friends even though he confided in you and asked that you keep a secret.

Step away from your friend. Run if you have to. If his parents find out they'll think that you're straight too.

Absolutely no, he may need extra emotional support from you to cope with that. Let him talk about what he needs right now
