Can't see that ever happening unless the CFL feels like expanding to the U.S.

First none of you know anything about Alaska!! Polar Bears?? Yeah... You gotta get so far north that you cant get there by road to see Polar bears... If a team was brought in AK it would in Anchorage, problem is Anchorage is smaller then any other small market for the most part... They have 250,000 people living there but nobody surrounding it like other teams like Buffalo, Jacksonville, and Greenbay... In Alaska it'd just be impossible to sell tickets and the only tickets that would be sold are the military in the area...

Not enough of a market - ain't gonna happen. Revenue sharing was an issue at the last owners meeting because of the contrast between big market teams, such as New York and Dallas; I can't imagine the sparks that would fly if Jerry Jones had to work with an owner in Alaska. Not gonna happen.

OK people, saying all the stuff over the weather, INCORRECT.
Chicago, Denver, and a couple other cities HAVE played in 0 degrees.
Plus, have you ever heard of a dome? Maybe a stadium with a retractable roof? Totally possible for Alaska to get a team, they really just need to figure out a way to fund it.

No way can Alaska have a team. Could you imagine a football game being played at below zero temperatures? I think not. There isn't enough market for one anyway.

I think Alaska would be a great place for football - definitely needs a dome!

it WOULD be next to impossible. don't get your hopes up. it would be very hard to market a team there, and teams already hate having to fly from W to E coast (or vice versa) for game ---flying to alaska and back would be out of the question (and that's just one game --2 for division rivals --alaska's team would have to do it for 8 games!!)

In college ball? No one would want them in their conference and have to travel all the way up there every other year.
