Four billion Years
######################

The Earth was formed around 4.57 billion years ago and its natural satellite, the Moon, was orbiting it shortly thereafter, around 4.53 billion years ago. The outer surface is divided into several tectonic plates that gradually migrate across the surface over geologic time spans. The interior of the planet remains active, with a thick layer of convecting yet solid mantle and an iron core that generates a magnetic field.

Assuming that the Earth formed at the same time as the rest of our solar system, 4.6 billion years. This age came form raiometric dating of an asteroid in our solar system.
I'm not a planetary geologist or astrologist so I can' tell you why all planets, the sun and nonplanet bodies are considered the same age. It makes sense though that the processes that created the Earth were widespread in our solar system.

Perhaps, if scientists view other nebulas, they can view various stages of solar system growth.

4,600,000,000 years (approximately). Because the figure is determined by radioactive decay, a very small error one way or the other is probable.
