I've been seeing a ton of fan sites out there dedicated to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I was wondering. Do you think Buffy is a thing of the Past? Or do you think Joss set the tempo for Shows similar to Buffy?

Also, if you're a buffy fan please visit my site. It's a free RPG for Btvs.

Buffy is one of those shows that will be around for a long time, even though the series officially ended a few years ago. Buffy is so smart and original and has a nice sized, cult fan base. I think that if Joss wanted to, he could still pull off a spin off show or movie. The only problem now is that a lot of the Buffy actors are doing other shows or movies. I know that there was talks about a Spike Movie about a year ago but I haven't heard any new news about that lately. Also, there is the Buffy Season 8 comic book to look forward to. The comic book series is suppose to wrap up some of the loose ends set on the show.

Buffy is not a thing of the past!!! Buffy is the best show ever (next to Angel). I love how it has comedy, drama, action, and every other element that makes a tv show great. I doubt that they will ever make another live action spinoff from it, but I will always hope for one.

Haha, one of the main reasons I love Buffy is that before watching Buffy, I used to be afraid of everything. Monsters, scary stuff on tv, etc. Now, whenever I see something freaky looking on tv, I go "I've seen scarier things on Buffy." Also, after watching Buffy (where almost every monster can be killed), I lost all of my childish fears of monsters.

yea lol i know, im lame like that, but still.

n e ways, i do think joss set the tempo for shows similar to buffy (ie: Smallville, Supernatural). But they can NEVER compare to Buffy.

There is talk of a couple animated series. Since the Warner Network went out of business last September and produced Buffy, any live action series is doubtful.

I think although its over it will maintain a strong fanbase. At least Buffy finished properly, I wish Angel would have got the ending it deserved!
