I am wondering if anyone knows of a site that you can enter all of your finances ..including the due dates and how much you make per week or month and it will tell you what to pay when and how much money to save or hold out each month..I just wonder about this because i sit down every month and say ok these are the bills and this is when we are going to pay them...just wondering if there was a easier way to do this to keep it online instead of handwritten in my planner. i am not interested in making a grid or anything like that myself...thanks

I use a simple program called "Bills & Reminders". Free to try, think it was $10 for the registration number. Had it and been using it so long I forgot where I got it, but a web search should turn it up. Very easy, clean program!

I know it's easy to find just any sort of tool to track your finances (budget notebook, spreadsheet, backs of envelopes), but the real test is finding something that gets you beyond just recording stuff and actually start planning your financial future.

The one that a lot of computer mags have been citing lately is Mvelopes.com. Monthly fee to use the service, enter all of your account info, scheduled payments and deposits, and it can track all of that stuff and more.

I like the desktop software myself (Quicken, MS Money, etc), but I don't see anything wrong w/ the online stuff. Portability is a good thing, and I imagine your account info is safe w/ them.
